Description

Savory oven-baked meatballs with a delightful crust, served with marinara sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and egg in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  6. Combine the meatballs with the sauce, top with shredded cheese, and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with sub rolls, pasta, or on a bed of greens.
