- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 4 pita pockets
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ cucumber, diced
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Brown the ground beef with the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm the pita pockets in an oven or microwave until fluffy.
- Fill each pita pocket with the beef mixture, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce before serving.
