Description

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita pockets
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ cucumber, diced
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Brown the ground beef with the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Warm the pita pockets in an oven or microwave until fluffy.
  5. Fill each pita pocket with the beef mixture, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber, and crumbled feta cheese.
  6. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce before serving.
