- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until they reach a smooth consistency.
- Stir in your cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until fully combined, taking care not to overmix.
- Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips if desired.
- Transfer the batter to your prepared loaf pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For easy cleanup, line your loaf pan with parchment paper. For a vegan option, use maple syrup and plant-based protein powder.
