Description

Delightful Hawaiian chicken kabobs featuring savory marinated chicken, sweet pineapple, bell peppers, and red onion, grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, chopped (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1 Red Onion, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Begin by cutting the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, coat the chicken with teriyaki sauce, ensuring each piece is well-covered. Allow it to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for maximum flavor.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high, ensuring it’s hot enough to create those beautiful char marks on your kabobs.
  3. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken pieces alternately with pineapple chunks, bell peppers, and red onion on skewers.
  4. Seasoning: Sprinkle the assembled kabobs with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors further.
  5. Grill the Kabobs: Place the skewers on the grill. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and boasts lovely grill marks.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Remove your kabobs from the grill, let them rest for a couple of minutes, and serve them hot off the grill.

Notes

For additional flavor, brush the kabobs with extra teriyaki sauce while grilling. You can also bake or air fry the kabobs if a grill isn’t available.
