Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pita breads
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Cut the pitas: Slice each pita bread in half to create pockets.
  3. Stuff the pockets: Fill each pita pocket with the lamb mixture, pressing gently to secure the filling.
  4. Preheat the grill: Get your grill hot over medium heat and lightly brush the grates with olive oil.
  5. Grill the pitas: Cook the stuffed pitas on the grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden-brown.
