Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (bamboo or metal)

Instructions

  1. Toss the shrimp with jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewer sticks, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
  5. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn opaque and slightly charred.
  6. Serve the skewers hot, possibly garnished with lime wedges.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the shrimp the night before. You can also substitute shrimp with chicken or firm fish like swordfish.
