Frozen Apple Peanut Butter Dog Treats

  • Author: Luna

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, cored and chopped (seeds and stem removed)
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1 ripe banana

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 2 tbsp pumpkin purée
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tbsp finely shredded carrots

Instructions

  1. Prep the apple. Core the apple and remove all seeds and the stem, then chop it into small pieces.
  2. Combine the base ingredients. Add the apple, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and banana to a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in optional add-ins, if using, gently folding them into the blended mixture so they’re evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone paw-print molds, bone-shaped molds, or ice cube trays.
  6. Tap the molds gently on the counter to release any trapped air bubbles for a smoother finished treat.
  7. Freeze for 4–6 hours, or until the treats are completely firm.
  8. Pop the frozen treats out of the molds and transfer them to an airtight, freezer-safe container.
  9. Store in the freezer for up to 2 months.

That’s it — no baking, no complicated steps, just a quick blend and a few hours in the freezer for a treat your dog will love.
