- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Cook the diced chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, honey, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a mixing bowl.
- Combine the prepared sauce with the cooked chicken and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and broccoli, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until the veggies are tender yet crunchy.
- Serve the stir fry over a bed of warm rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
