Description
Fluffy rolls filled with poached eggs, savory ham, and rich hollandaise sauce—perfect for brunch or a special breakfast occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- Fluffy rolls (dinner rolls or brioche)
- Savory ham (smoked or honey-glazed)
- 4 fresh eggs
- Hollandaise sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or dill, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your rolls according to package instructions or your homemade recipe.
- Cook the ham: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ham slices until heated through and slightly crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Poach the eggs: Fill a saucepan with water, add a splash of vinegar, and bring to a gentle boil. Crack each egg into a small bowl and gently slide them into the water. Poach for 3-4 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
- Assemble the rolls: Carefully slice the warm rolls in half. On the bottom of each roll, place a slice of ham, a poached egg, and drizzle hollandaise sauce on top.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make hollandaise sauce the night before and reheat it for a smoother preparation. Consider adding sautéed vegetables for extra flavor.
