Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Mix the milk, egg, and vegetable oil in another bowl until well-blended.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour a small amount of waffle batter into the preheated waffle iron.
- Add a spoonful of the creamy strawberry mixture on top, then cover with more batter.
