- 4 cups apple pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup cinnamon sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Spray your Crock Pot generously with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour the apple pie filling directly into the bottom of the Crock Pot, spreading it evenly.
- Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the apple filling.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar and chopped pecans (if using) over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for about 240-300 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and the apples start bubbling.
- Serve hot with vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
You can layer all ingredients in the Crock Pot the night before and cook it when guests arrive for a stress-free dessert.
