- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan until melted.
- Slice the rested chicken and return it to the skillet, along with the cooked pasta. Toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with plant-based cream and use nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor. Fresh garlic is recommended for the best flavor.
