Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 slices of bread (such as ciabatta or sourdough)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Toast the slices of bread in the same skillet until they turn golden and crisp.
  6. Slice the rested chicken into tender strips.
  7. Toss the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing until each leaf is coated.
  8. Assemble the sandwich by layering one slice of toasted bread with dressed lettuce, sliced chicken, and grated Parmesan cheese, topped with another slice of bread.
