- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Caesar dressing
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 slices of bread (such as ciabatta or sourdough)
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Toast the slices of bread in the same skillet until they turn golden and crisp.
- Slice the rested chicken into tender strips.
- Toss the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing until each leaf is coated.
- Assemble the sandwich by layering one slice of toasted bread with dressed lettuce, sliced chicken, and grated Parmesan cheese, topped with another slice of bread.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
