A refreshing cherry pie iced tea that blends black tea with cherry juice, vanilla, and fresh fruits for a delightful summer drink.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup cherry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)
  • 12 tbsp honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice, for serving
  • Fresh mint and lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a kettle or pot.
  2. Steep the black tea bags in the boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add cherry juice, pitted cherries, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
  4. Cool the mixture to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with mint and lemon slices.

Notes

Prepare a day in advance for deeper flavor. Avoid oversteeping the tea to prevent bitterness.
