Description

Delightful handheld pockets filled with savory ground beef and melted cheddar cheese, wrapped in flaky, buttery crescent roll dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef browns and the onion softens, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and melt for about 2 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle, fold over and seal the edges.
  6. Arrange the pockets on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare filling a day in advance and store in the fridge. Can bake from frozen; add extra time.
