Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture, alternating with the whole milk.
  5. Bake in the prepared dish for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cake completely, then poke holes in the top.
  7. Prepare the milks mixture by combining sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream.
  8. Pour the milk mixture over the cooled cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  9. Finish with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped pecans before serving.

Notes
