Description

A delightful and foolproof way to bring homemade bread into your kitchen without the mess.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large zip-top bag, combine 1 cup warm water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 packet of active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the bag. Seal tightly and knead the bag with your hands until the dough forms a cohesive ball.
  3. Allow the dough to rise in the bag for about 30-60 minutes, until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down, cut it in half, and shape them into loaves. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the loaves turn golden brown.
  7. Let the loaves cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Make sure your water is warm but not too hot; otherwise, it can kill the yeast. You can also use an air fryer at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes.
