Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your bundt pan generously.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until blended.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and egg, whisking until mixed, then pour into the dry ingredients and stir gently.
  4. Carefully fold in the fresh blueberries.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and melted butter until smooth for the glaze.
  6. Tear the dough into small pieces, dip them in the brown sugar mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Layer the pieces in the greased bundt pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes in the pan, then invert onto a serving platter and drizzle the remaining glaze over the top.

Notes

You can prepare the dough the night before and refrigerate it. Let it come to room temperature before baking.
