- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your bundt pan generously.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until blended.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and egg, whisking until mixed, then pour into the dry ingredients and stir gently.
- Carefully fold in the fresh blueberries.
- In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and melted butter until smooth for the glaze.
- Tear the dough into small pieces, dip them in the brown sugar mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
- Layer the pieces in the greased bundt pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes in the pan, then invert onto a serving platter and drizzle the remaining glaze over the top.
Notes
You can prepare the dough the night before and refrigerate it. Let it come to room temperature before baking.
