Ingredients
Scale
- 400g linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 500g fresh clams, cleaned
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Boil the Linguine: Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Create the Sauce: Pour in the white wine and broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the Clams: Toss in the clams and red pepper flakes. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Combine with Linguine: Add the drained linguine to the skillet. Toss everything together.
- Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure to rinse clams thoroughly, and discard any that do not open during cooking. This dish pairs well with garlic bread and a crisp white wine.
