Description
A delightful dessert featuring layers of creamy pudding, ripe banana slices, and crunchy vanilla wafers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of vanilla wafers
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 (5-ounce) packages of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 (12-ounce) container of whipped topping
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding: In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mixes with 4 cups of milk. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture for about 2 minutes until it’s smooth and thickened.
- Cream the cheese: In another medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until creamy and fluffy.
- Fold in the topping: Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until you see no streaks.
- Layering begins: In your 9×13 inch dish, start with a layer of half the vanilla wafers.
- Add bananas and cream: Place half of the sliced bananas on top of the wafers, followed by half of the pudding mixture. Carefully spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the pudding layer.
- Repeat layers: Repeat the layers, starting with the remaining vanilla wafers, then the rest of the banana slices, followed by the second batch of pudding and cream cheese mixtures.
- Finish with whipped topping: Top off your lasagna with any remaining whipped topping, garnishing with additional banana slices or crushed vanilla wafers if desired.
- Refrigerate: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
