- 1 lb (450 g) pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells as per package instructions until they’re perfectly al dente. Drain well and set aside.
- Combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is creamy.
- Fold in the cooked and shredded chicken until well-coated with the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta shells and gently mix to ensure even coverage without breaking the shells.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased slow cooker and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours until heated through and the cheese has melted.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
To make ahead, assemble the mixture a day in advance and store in the fridge. Optionally, bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes for a quicker cooking method.
