- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, steam the broccoli florets until just tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shredded white cheddar cheese to the cream mixture and stir until melted and smooth.
- Combine the steamed broccoli with the cheese sauce and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
