Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, cumin, and black pepper.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture, knead until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  5. In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent, then add mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper, then let the filling cool.
  7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal portions.
  8. Roll each portion into a circle, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and fold the edges to seal.
  9. Place the buns on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
