Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, cumin, and black pepper.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture, knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent, then add mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper, then let the filling cool.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a circle, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and fold the edges to seal.
- Place the buns on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
