Turtle Cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of chocolate, caramel, and pecans, creating a delightful treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the sour cream, chocolate chips, and half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother batter.
