- 2 lbs ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1–2 smoked chili peppers, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chopped tomatoes, sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
- Add the smoked chili peppers, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until it thickens.
- Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal them.
- Let the jars cool to room temperature before storing them in the refrigerator.
