- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked ziti, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Feel free to add cooked ground meat or vegetables for added flavor and nutrition.
