- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the cooked bacon back to the skillet along with brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, sweet chili sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Simmer the mixture on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens.
- Let the jam cool before transferring it to a jar for storage.
