Ingredients

- 1 pre-made pizza crust
- 1 cup kale, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a food processor, combine kale, basil, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to create the pesto.
- Spread the kale pesto evenly over the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
Notes
- Feel free to add additional toppings like cherry tomatoes or grilled chicken.
- This pizza can be made vegan by omitting the cheese or using a dairy-free alternative.
- Store leftover pizza in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
