Description
A delicious blend of sweet strawberries and spicy jalapeños, perfect for spreading on toast or using as a glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 cup jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the strawberries, jalapeños, and lemon juice.
- Add the sugar and stir until well mixed.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add the fruit pectin and continue to boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeños based on your heat preference.
- This jam can be used as a glaze for meats or as a topping for desserts.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
