A delightful Strawberry Honeybun Cake topped with a creamy icing, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the chopped strawberries on top.
- Pour the remaining cake batter over the strawberries and sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cake is done, let it cool for 10 minutes before drizzling the icing on top.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- This cake can be served warm or cold.
