  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the brie cheese in the center of the pastry.
  4. In a bowl, mix the strawberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, basil, and olive oil.
  5. Spoon the strawberry mixture over the brie.
  6. Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing it well.
  7. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
