- 1 round of brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Place the brie cheese in the center of the pastry.
- In a bowl, mix the strawberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, basil, and olive oil.
- Spoon the strawberry mixture over the brie.
- Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing it well.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
