Description

A refreshing and spicy twist on traditional watermelon margaritas, these popsicles are perfect for summer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the watermelon cubes in a blender until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
  3. Add lime juice, tequila, agave syrup, and salt to the watermelon juice and mix well.
  4. Add sliced jalapeño to the mixture for a spicy kick.
  5. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and insert sticks.
  6. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
  7. To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño based on your spice preference.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila.
  • These popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
