Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with Sriracha sauce until well combined.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side, layer the chicken mixture, cheese, and green onions.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha to your spice preference.
  • For a milder version, use less Sriracha or mix it with mayonnaise.
