Description

Spicy Pickle Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on the classic deviled eggs, featuring a zesty pickle flavor that adds a kick to your appetizer spread.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pickles
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting them sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs from the pot and place them in an ice bath to cool.
  3. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped pickles, pickle juice, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  6. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
  • These can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Feel free to substitute the pickles with spicy pickles for an even bolder flavor.
