A flavorful and tangy Spicy Mango Chutney that adds a burst of flavor to your dishes.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1–2 green chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the diced mangoes, onion, garlic, and green chilies.
- Add brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens (about 20-30 minutes).
- Let it cool before transferring to a jar.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer green chilies.
- This chutney pairs well with grilled meats and sandwiches.
- For a smoother texture, blend the chutney after cooking.
