Ingredients

- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.
- In a bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Form the mixture into small balls or poppers about the size of a golf ball.
- Roll each popper in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- To bake, place the poppers on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, to fry, carefully place each popper in hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Prepare the mixture the night before for easier cooking. Air fryer is a healthier option for cooking.
