  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef until cooked through.
  5. Add the bell peppers and carrots to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles with the beef and vegetables, tossing to mix well.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the amount of gochujang.
