- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef until cooked through.
- Add the bell peppers and carrots to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the cooked noodles with the beef and vegetables, tossing to mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a milder version, reduce the amount of gochujang.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or snap peas.
