Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the maple syrup and melted coconut oil.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before breaking into clusters.
  8. If using, mix in dried fruit once cooled.
