Description

Smoked Bacon Mac Cheeseburger Stuffed Pepper Bombs are a delicious fusion of flavors, combining the classic taste of cheeseburgers with creamy mac and cheese, all stuffed into sweet bell peppers and smoked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, cooked ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the mac and cheese mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in the smoker and smoke for about 1 hour, or until the peppers are tender.
  7. Remove from the smoker and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the cheese blend to your liking.
  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the stuffing mixture.
  • These can also be cooked in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30-40 minutes if you don’t have a smoker.
