- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the Arborio rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In the slow cooker, combine the rinsed rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Once the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy, stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- If using, add the raisins and mix well.
- Serve warm or chilled, garnished with additional cinnamon if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the milk with cream.
- Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
