- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons flour (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place the beef stew meat in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and mushrooms.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream and flour if using.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
