- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked penne with marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the penne mixture in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the first layer.
- Add the remaining penne mixture on top.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Pour 2 cups of water around the edges of the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
