- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and asparagus to the skillet, cooking until the shrimp turns pink and the asparagus is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
