- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the salted caramel sauce.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top of the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- These brownies can be served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
