Delicious salted caramel pecan pie bars with a buttery crust and a rich filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, brown sugar, and salt to form the crust.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and salted caramel sauce.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Serve with whipped cream for an extra treat.
