- 4 ripe pears (Anjou or Bosc)
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the pears in half and remove the cores.
- Place the pears cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until tender.
- In a small saucepan, combine walnuts and maple syrup over medium heat.
- Remove pears from the oven and top each half with goat cheese.
- Drizzle the maple walnut mixture over the pears.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Make the maple walnut drizzle a day in advance for convenience. You can also use an air fryer for a quicker option.
