Description

A delightful dish combining sweet, roasted pears with creamy goat cheese and a rich maple walnut drizzle, perfect as an appetizer or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears (Anjou or Bosc)
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and remove the cores.
  3. Place the pears cut side up on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until tender.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine walnuts and maple syrup over medium heat.
  7. Remove pears from the oven and top each half with goat cheese.
  8. Drizzle the maple walnut mixture over the pears.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Make the maple walnut drizzle a day in advance for convenience. You can also use an air fryer for a quicker option.
