Roasted Maple–Glazed Brussels Sprouts that Impress Every Time

A delicious and easy recipe for roasted Brussels sprouts glazed with maple syrup, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and caramelized.
  5. If using, sprinkle chopped pecans over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
  • Adjust the amount of maple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
