Description

Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake is a rich and indulgent dessert that combines chocolate cake, peanut butter, and cream cheese for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the chocolate cake batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Pour the remaining chocolate cake batter on top.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups and chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cake mix.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
