- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional, xylitol-free)
- 1 ripe banana, mashed (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and baking powder. Whisk together thoroughly.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg. If adding banana or peanut butter, include them in this mixture.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, lightly greasing if necessary.
- Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet, cooking until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Let pancakes cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
Make the batter ahead of time and store in the refrigerator for convenience. Customize with dog-safe fruits or spices.
