- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pre-made pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving. Optionally, top with whipped cream.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use homemade pumpkin puree.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This tart can be made a day in advance for convenience.
